Dear Sir or Madam, Local Community Members, Charity Groups, Businesses, and Friends:
Central Jersey Jets AAU youth basketball club invites you to become a sponsor for our first Central Jersey Jets Youth Basketball Clinic. The 3 session event will benefit the boys and girls of our local communities as we provide a safe and fun environment that foster basketball skill development and cooperative game play.
The primary source of funding is from community members and local business sponsors such as yourself. The Central Jersey Jets receives no governmental funds for equipment, uniforms, supplies, and or venue use.
This exciting sport and fun filled event will be held on 3 consecutive Saturdays in June (13, 20, and 27) at Naaman Williams Park, 42 Matilda Avenue Somerset NJ 08873 . Somerset, NJ. It is a hands on camp-style clinic that incorporates creativity, sportsmanship, and physical activity, while learning basketball fundamentals, skill development, and advancing game play. The clinic is for boys and girls entering grades 3-8. This clinic will also serve as an introduction for our Central Jersey Jets youth basketball club.
As you may be aware, the amount of physical activity in America’s youth continues to decrease annually, the number of athletic clubs for youth in our communities has declined as well. Our mission is to provide a positive, safe, and fun mentoring environment that fosters skill development, sportsmanship, and cooperative game play, while promoting an active lifestyle. Your sponsorship and or donations for this clinic event will assists in set-up cost, promotion cost, continental breakfast, water, Gatorade, and giveaways, for all clinic players. While any monetary amount of assistance would be greatly appreciated, here are some suggested donations and example of how your donated funds will help this event:
Would assist with paper goods, name tags, player certificates, water
Provide clinic equipment: cones, basketballs, station-markers, continental breakfast, Gatorade (business will receive advertising at clinic, paper media/flyers and business cards handed out)
Provide clinic t-shirts, pennies, mesh totes, end of clinic activity, set-up cost and advertisement. (business will receive advertising on team website, paper media/flyer, business cards handed out, and table or banner set-up at clinic, programs and community events)
Help assure the success of our first year! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
I look forward to speaking with you at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Daniel Worthey, Director
