September flew by and was our first month operational in our new building! 👏🏻 We have loved serving families out of our new Care Closet. 🫶🏼 We can't wait to see what the future brings, but this was a pretty solid first month of serving from our forever home.

We had a great turn out at our Fall Fun Day last week! Foster and adoptive families joined us to paint pumpkins, eat fall treats, do crafts, and play games! 🍁🎃

We want to say a special THANK YOU to the youth group from High Street Baptist for co-hosting this event with us and bringing their students to serve. They were amazing to serve with!

July & August were exciting months for Be the Village! 👏🏻

We moved into our new home on August 1st. Throughout our moving season, we still continued to serve kids entering foster & kinship care on a more limited capacity. Despite our move, we still equipped 33 children and teens with needed supplies when entering foster care, entering kinship care, or reunifying with a biological parent. 🫶🏼

We are excited to be fully open to serving kids out of our new location and can't wait to see what September holds. Thanks to each and every donor and volunteer that makes this important work possible. Without you we couldn't be the light of Jesus to our community. 💡

Our Care Pack program reopened this week in our new building, and we have been busy! In just four days we have helped four families welcoming a total of twelve children into their homes. 🫶

Just this morning, we loaded up a volunteer’s car with supplies for four siblings that were placed into Kinship Care last night. We were able to provide them with clothing, beds, car seats, comfort items, toys, backpacks, high chairs, diapers, Bibles, toiletries and more. 👦🏻👦🏼👶🏻👶🏼

Being able to step in and equip families that say “yes” to kids on their hardest days is one of our greatest honors. It is one small way we can show the love of Jesus to the world. 🌎🤍
