🔥 THE ANNIE MASH DUO IS COMING TO SOMERSET! 🔥

This Saturday, the 40th Annual St. Sharbel Church Lebanese Festival is turning up the heat with a full day of food, music, dancing, and summer festival fun!

We’re excited to showcase some amazing local New Jersey talent as the Annie Mash Duo brings all the greatest Jersey Shore hits to the festival stage from 2:00–4:00 PM! 🎶🌊

And when the sun starts to dip, the party keeps going! In the evening, Lebanese star singer Danny Ashkar will be rocking the dance floor with the sounds and energy you know and love. 🇱🇧🎤

It’s going to be a hot day, so come cool off with cold drinks, delicious Lebanese food, and a festival atmosphere packed with flavor, music, and fun.

Congratulations to one of our own, Dr. Jamil Maroun, on being selected as the next Superintendent of Franklin Township Public Schools!

The community of St. Sharbel Church is proud to celebrate this wonderful achievement. As a Franklin native and dedicated educational leader, Dr. Maroun now returns to serve the very community that helped shape him. He will succeed retiring Superintendent Dr. John Ravally and is expected to begin his new role on September 1, 2026.

Dr. Maroun has served the Manville School District since 2016, first as Principal of Roosevelt School, then as Assistant Superintendent, and now as Superintendent. His leadership has been marked by a commitment to equity, innovation, and student success.

We are especially proud to see a member of our parish family continue to make such a meaningful impact in the lives of students, families, educators, and the wider community. Leadership in education is a true vocation, one that requires wisdom, patience, vision, and heart.

May God bless Dr. Maroun in this new chapter and guide him as he leads Franklin Township Public Schools with strength, humility, and purpose.
