🍂 HARVEST FOR HOPE 2026 - WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY! ❤️

What started as an idea to bring our Isha Cares community together turned into an afternoon filled with laughter, connection, friendship, and hope.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Von Thun Farms - our family, friends, volunteers, sponsors, Board members, and supporters. Your presence helped make this day so special and continues to help us turn Isha’s inspiration into action for children and families affected by childhood cancer.

A special thank-you to Von Thun Farms for welcoming Isha Cares and helping us create such a memorable day.

💛 A Little Joy for Bobby 💛
Bobby is a 4-year-old boy in Georgia who loves Spider-Man, LEGO, building things, and video games-and right now, he is spending far too much of his childhood in cancer treatment.

His dad shared that one of the things Bobby recently asked for was Minecraft for his Nintendo Switch. That simple request reminded us how important it is for children facing cancer to still have moments of just being kids. 🕷️🎮

Through Isha Cares, we’re supporting Bobby’s family with financial assistance and a small wish list filled with things chosen just for him.

💛 Hope in Action: Isha Cares + CanKids 💛

Our partnership with CanKids…KidsCan continues to bring practical support to children fighting cancer in India.

This summer, Isha Cares was proud to support 11 children with nutritional supplements and hygiene kits through CanKids’ Summer Rays – Brighter Days initiative. ☀️

For a child undergoing cancer treatment, proper nutrition and access to essential hygiene supplies can provide much-needed comfort and support during a challenging journey.

Each kit represents more than just supplies - it is a reminder to a child and their family that they are cared for and they are not alone. 💛

We are grateful to CanKids for the incredible work they do for children and families affected by childhood cancer, and to our supporters who make it possible for Isha Cares to continue this work.

💛 Small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

This summer, two amazing young volunteers, Akshara (10th grade) and Anupama Ganesh (6th grade), came together to collect school supplies for children receiving care through the pediatric oncology program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Together, they collected backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, art supplies, crayons, markers, water bottles, lunch bags, and other school essentials.

The supplies were donated to support both inpatient and outpatient pediatric oncology families.

We are so proud of Akshara and Anupama for turning their summer into an opportunity to serve others. ❤️

At Isha Cares, we believe children can create meaningful change when given the opportunity to care, lead, and give back.

🎒💜 Back-to-School Giving: Helping Children Start Strong

For families navigating cancer, preparing for a new school year can bring challenges beyond the classroom. This year, Isha Cares was honored to support the ‘Breathing Room Foundation’s Back-to-School Program’, helping children and families affected by cancer get ready for the school year with backpacks and essential supplies.

Through the generosity of our Isha Cares community, we contributed school supplies for approximately five children and fulfilled the complete wish list for one family, providing items thoughtfully selected for their individual needs and interests. 🎒📚✏️

It’s more than school supplies. It’s a reminder that families facing cancer are not alone - and that their community is standing beside them. 💜

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible, and to the Breathing Room Foundation for the meaningful work they do for families.

Imagine preparing for a new school year while your family is also navigating cancer treatment. For many children, the excitement of going back to school is overshadowed by financial and emotional challenges.
This July, Isha Cares is honored to partner once again with Breathing Room Foundation to provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies for children whose families are affected by cancer across the Pennsylvania region.
For more than two decades, the Breathing Room Foundation has been supporting local families battling cancer by providing practical assistance that eases everyday burdens.

💜 Giving Back to Families in Need 💜

Isha Cares was honored to donate essential items, including diapers and supplies, to support the alumni reunion event hosted by The Center for Great Expectations (CGE).

CGE is a New Jersey nonprofit dedicated to helping pregnant women, parenting youth, and their children who are facing homelessness, abuse, neglect, and other challenging life circumstances. Through safe housing, education, counseling, and supportive services, CGE empowers families to build stable and healthy futures.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to an event that brings together former residents and families, fostering connection, community, and continued support.

At Isha Cares, we believe that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families facing difficult challenges.

💛 Every Step Matters. Every Child Matters. 💛

Last weekend, Team Isha Cares Warriors proudly joined hundreds of supporters at The Valerie Fund Walk & 5K Run in Verona Park to stand with children battling cancer and blood disorders.

This event holds a special place in our hearts. During Isha's cancer journey, organizations like The Valerie Fund provided compassionate support to families facing unimaginable challenges. Walking together as a community was our way of honoring that support and helping ensure that other families never have to face this journey alone.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who walked, ran, donated, shared our fundraiser, and cheered us on. Your support helps create hope, comfort, and critical resources for children and families when they need them most.

Seeing our community come together reminded us that even in difficult times, love, kindness, and collective action can make a lasting difference.
