Strong Towns Pulaski is kicking off summer in downtown Somerset with a series of historical walking tours! ☀️ Join this local conversation group for FREE tours through downtown Somerset using the city's historical wayfinding signs as a guide.

PLUS, the Pulaski County Historical Society will provide extra information you will only hear on a tour!

Tours will be offered on three dates through the summer:

Saturday, June 13 at 10 a.m.
Friday, July 10 at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 8 at 10 a.m.

THANK YOU ALL WHO ATTENDED OUR YARDSALE and car wash🙌

We have 11 residents who came counting days to leave. As their nervous system regulated (this takes time), while acquiring coping skills through a variety of new behaviors, they now are in Phase 2, transition.

PHASE 2 is crucial transition to ease into life, using new skills to manage real life stressors. Supporting our program offers them the opportunity to safely prepare for the transition, while being the light for new ones coming in the doors.

We encourage them to take their time learning to not only how to balance finances, but to balance life-work, careers, family, and most important their RECOVERY!

We cannot do this alone, support from our community is essential. Over the years it just keeps growing 💚🙏

This week we have been so blessed by FIRST STREET BAPTIST CHURCH🥰 First a donation of precious vitamins that gives our body and brain a healthy boost. Today its donuts to give a sugary treat to curb that sweet tooth 😋 They always look for ways to show the residents love and acceptance 💚

Guess what? YARDSALE is back on! Weather has shifted so has my decision. We need to get items sold and on to bring joy to others. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO SUPPORT OUR RESIDENTS AND PROGRAM OPERATIONS.

We do not bill insurance for services making the program truly based on individual recovery progress. Help us keep a vital service moving in our community 💚🤗🙌
