🌾 Supporting American Agriculture

For many Americans, food security begins with the farmers who grow and supply the nation’s food. Their work plays an important role in keeping communities fed and supply chains moving. 🇺🇸

Supporting local agriculture is often seen as a way to strengthen economic stability, encourage resilience, and help maintain a reliable food system for future generations.

At the same time, global trade also influences food availability, pricing, and market access, making this a broader and ongoing conversation.

Across different perspectives, many agree that farmers play a vital role and deserve recognition and thoughtful support.

🤔 What do you think is the best way to support farmers while balancing local needs and global markets?

An overwhelming majority of America’s farmers who responded to a nationwide survey say they cannot afford to purchase enough fertilizer to meet their needs for the year. Learn more about the American Farm Bureau Federation’s survey of U.S. farmers at kyfb.ag/surveyresults.
