Humane trapping is one of the most vital tools in independent animal rescue. It keeps both the cat and the rescuer safe while allowing us to bring street cats in for essential medical care, spay/neuter, and safety.

ANNOUNCEMENT: How My Independent Animal Rescue Works 🐾❤️

I want to clarify how I operate: I am not a 501(c)(3) rescue. I am simply one person stepping up because our community needs more hands on deck. Our local shelter, local rescue, and Humane Society do incredible work, but they cannot handle the overpopulation crisis alone.

I do what I can with what I have—funded straight from my own heart and pocket. I focus on saving as many lives as possible, educating the public, and networking with other independent rescues. Networking is key: we are all in this together, and saving lives is the ultimate goal.

I never ask for cash or monetary donations sent directly to me.

If you’d like to support my work, donations of needed supplies (food, litter, crates, medical supplies) are always appreciated.

24 Hours, One Mama, and a Gas Station Rescue 🚨🐾

Yesterday started with a tip about a newborn kitten at a gas station. While a worker there kept that first kitten and turned away our offer to assist, we knew the story wasn't over.

We searched the area and found three more kittens scattered nearby, followed by mama cat herself protecting two more. Within 24 hours, we managed to trap mama and get everyone into safe hands.

It hasn't been easy—we tragically lost two of the fragile kittens, and the worker declined to reunite the first newborn with mama. But today, mama and her three remaining babies are safe, warm, and thriving.

This beautiful stray was a successful TNR and discovered she was skittish, but not feral. Also discovered the day after her spay she had milk therefore she had babies. Babies were found and successfully rescued with mama as well. They went to a reputable rescue.
