The Forbes Road Chapter DAR is a chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Our local chapter was organized on February 27, 1916 in Somerset, Pa. and will be celebrating their 100th anniversary next year. We are a volunteer women's service organization that honors and preserves the legacy of our Patriot ancestors. As a member of DAR you can continue this legacy by promot

ing patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through better education for children. Any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership.
