I have been a Girl Scout leader for 12 years, ever since Haley was in kindergarten. We joined for Haley to make friends and she did. 12 years later, we have 2 original girls! 1 girl join my troop in 1st grade, one in second grade and one as a sophomore in high school. Although these girls do not talk much or hang out out side of girls scouts, they will be spending the next eight days together on a boat! We just finished our first day in Venice Italy! We didn’t do much today except explore this amazing city. We did have pasta for lunch and pizza for dinner, and gelato for a snack today. We are looking forward to all of the adventures this week holds. We are starting our trip in Dubrovnik Croatia where we will be taking a speed boat to caves to explore with snorkeling, cave diving and visiting a beach. We will follow this with a trip to Athens where we will explore the Greek ruins and learn about the history. We continue onto Santorini Greek where we will learn how to scuba dive and visit Oia. We are our trip in Zadae Croatia where we will visit a national park full of waterfalls. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience for these girls and I am glad I get to share it with them. They have worked hard to raise money in order to support the trips.

Whether you're a seasoned outdoor enthusiast or just looking for a memorable way to spend an evening, S'mores and the Outdoors at Camp Hoffman promises to be an unforgettable experience for all ages. Are you ready to roll into the Science of Roller Skating with United Skates of America? Girl Scouts will learn about the parts of a roller skate/inline skate and how each piece functions to make the skate in this badge-earning program. They will discuss how surfaces in the rink are made of different materials and how that affects the skate in motion. Girl Scouts will then have a chance to showcase their creativity and design a new feature for a skate. Once you are fueled with the knowledge behind roller skating, play with science in motion as you enjoy two-hours of building your skating skills! Price includes the Maker Badge: Create and Tinker, your STEM Lesson, admission, skate rental, 1 slice of pizza and a soft drink!

Join us for T.R.E.C. to experience a whole weekend of reinforcing nature and camp skills in a competitive outdoor setting. From tent pitching, tripod lashing, knots, sawing, orienteering, fire building and cooking to Leave No Trace and more! It is time to team up and get outside!

T.R.E.C. in a Day is an excellent alternative to the whole T.R.E.C. experience. Girl Scouts will merge with T.R.E.C. competitors throughout the day! Plan ahead and prepare for a day full of fun!

There is still time to register for S'mores & the Outdoors! Join us with your family or your troop to celebrate National S’mores Day with unique s’mores creations and Girl Scout songs by the campfire. This is also a great opportunity for troop leaders to invite their girls to camp for a pre-troop year planning meeting while you enjoy the outdoors.

A fun patch will be given to all girls upon check-in that evening, so be sure to register today. Please note that this event will be taking place simultaneously at both Camps Rocky Farm and Hoffman, and they each have a separate registration link. Be sure to register for the session that is at the camp you with to spend the evening at.

Come hang out with GSSNE at National Night Out in Warwick on August 2nd! There are so many other amazing vendors and organizations in attendance with lots of family fun activities, so be sure to stop by! There will be Girl Scout games and prizes, special chances to receive a fun patch and of course opportunities to register or renew. We can’t wait to see you there!
