Join the Upper Room this afternoon for their free hot meal distribution next to the Somerset Post Office from 3:00 - 4:30 pm, or while supplies last.

Tonight, they will be serving a surprise.

Evacuation Warning - Level 2 - Set
The area south of the Evacuation Order Zone, includes parts of Holland Drive, Wasatch Road, Highland Drive, Pocket Mine Road, and Parleys Canyon Road

As of 6:59PM - The fire's size has been revised to be 4 acres and it is holding, per Air Attack. There is retardant on all sides & units are making good progress, per Incident Command.

As of 6:52PM - There are Evacuation Warnings in place in the Placerville Perimeter Zone for the area south of the Evacuation Order Zone and includes parts of Holland Drive, Wasatch Road, Highland Drive, Pocket Mine Road, and Parleys Canyon Road. Be ready to leave at a moment's notice. If you choose to evacuate the area, please use Mosquito Road South to Placerville, per the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.
