Every Breath Counts Foundation for Lung Cancer wants to thank everyone who has supported us in the past 17 years! It is with heavy hearts that we are disbanding the organization.
We have tried over the past few years to find new blood to take over the reins, as the board has consisted of primarily the same members since the organizations inception. Unfortunately to no avail, we have made the tough decision to end our charity. We will be closing our FB/Twitter X/Email and Website accounts in the coming weeks.
Anyone who kindly gave donations through the end of the year 2023, be certain your donations will still go towards important Lung Cancer research and hopefully a cure, as we work to properly close out the 501(c)3.
We want to send a special thanks to all of the volunteers who have helped us in the past with our walks, runs and yoga events. Shout out to the Fooks Family whose Walk 'N Roll for Lung Cancer Awareness in memory of Ron Fooks Sr. has worked tirelessly the last several years to become our main feeder event as it became harder to organize our flagship walk. We hope that this event will continue to do good things for Lung Cancer Awareness and Support in the South Jersey region and give directly to one of the national Lung Cancer Foundations as EBCF has done in the past.
Lastly to the many people fighting this disease daily and in memory of those who have lost their battle, even though we are no longer a board certified organization, we are still individuals who will continue to be advocates and warriors for an end to Lung Cancer! We love you all and will miss being the face of this beautiful community🩵🙏🩵
