On Saturday, September 27th, the Solvang Rotary Club, together with other Rotary clubs from the Santa Ynez Valley and the Solvang Parks and Recreation Department, participated in a clean up and maintenance event at Sunny Fields Park in Solvang. Rotarians spread bark mulch, planted flowers, removed weeds, and painted sections of the park. This annual project is organized by the Rotary Clubs from the Santa Ynez Valley to support the upkeep of the park for public use.

We are getting ready for the upcoming show at Solvang Theaterfest on Saturday September 13th at 7:30 PM with comedian Orny Adams! You may not have heard of Orny but he is a big name comedian and well worth coming to see. Lots of good seats are still available with tickets available on the Solvang Theaterfest website.
This is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Solvang so buy your tickets and come out and help support the local Rotary club who helps support the local community.

Scholarships Available for Santa Ynez Valley High School Students!!

The Rotary clubs in the Santa Ynez Valley are proud to announce that applications are being taken to apply to the Ken Verkler Memorial Scholarship for graduates from the Santa Ynez Valley High school. The DEADLINE TO APPLY is April 18th.
