SAM & PTO have some exciting news to share! As of July 1, 2023 our two organizations have merged to form one stronger and more effective nonprofit. This new organization will go by SAM’s original entity name, SOLVANG SCHOOL EDUCATION FOUNDATION (SSEF).

Our new Mission: To ensure every student at Solvang School has access to a comprehensive education for the whole child - challenging their brains, cultivating their creative spirits and promoting physical wellbeing.

We remain dedicated to maintaining the high standard of music and arts curriculum currently offered while also ensuring that every child has access to all enrichment trips and programs.

The SSEF Board looks forward to welcoming everyone back in August and we hope you are having a wonderful summer.

Hello Solvang School Families:

Next week is Teacher Appreciation week! We have a week full of fun ways to help our teachers feel specials. This year’s theme is, “Thank you for helping our children blossom.” 🌸

Here’s a rundown of what we have planned for each day:

🌺 Monday: Bring a flower for your teacher!
📝Tuesday: Write a heartfelt thank you note!
🍪Wednesday: Bring in a snack to show your teacher how sweet they are.
📚Thursday: Bring in school supplies for your classroom.
🍎Friday: Bring your teacher a piece of fruit and remind them how much they’ve helped you grow this year!

Our students had an absolute blast running, laughing, and getting drenched in colorful powder. It was so inspiring to see their enthusiasm and spirit. 🤩
