At the end of this summer, our Program Director Alec Deppe stepped down after 4 years of service at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca. We thank him for his dedication to the role over the last 4 years, and wish him and his family nothing but the best in their next adventure!

With that being said, applications for the Program Director position are now open. If this is a calling that you are interested in pursuing, please email your resume, cover letter, and 3 references to [email protected] to be considered.

Over this past spring and summer, with very generous assistance from National LERT, our partners at the IDE District Office and IDE Disaster response, and incredible donor support, we were able to purchase a 2026 MT-100 skid steer with a bucket and grappel, a 2026 RAM 2500 Tradesman, and a 2026 Load Trail dump trailer. These pieces of equipment have not only been instrumental in getting camp ready for the summer, but have also already gone on FOUR disaster response deployments this summer, with more deployments on the way! The tack shed remodel is coming along nicely! We have replaced the roof, redone all of the electrical (tack shed AND pavilion), replaced 3(!) old breaker boxes, plumbed in a tankless hot water heater, expanded the tack shed by 80 ft^2, prepped for air conditioning, and roughed-in all of the plumbing for the new horse barn bathrooms! But we still need your help to bring us across the finish line. We still need to finish the insulation, replace the windows, put drywall on the interior, replace all 3 doors, and repaint the exterior!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Summerfest fundraiser both in person and online! This has been our most successful Summerfest ever, thanks to all of you! 2026 Summerfest by the numbers:
