Please take a moment to check out this scholarship, supporting our school's CC/Track runners while remembering the "Forrest Gump" of our CC team, Austin Schiff. This foundation, to support the scholarship, will be ongoing. We hope to award an eligible senior $250 towards tuition, board, books, and/or other expenses while going to college or technical school each year.

Austin “Forrest” Schiff Scholarship
The Austin “Forrest” Schiff Scholarship, established in April 2020, is to remember a Cross Country member that attended Solon Springs School. Austin was the definition of a runner, whether for recreation, competition, or camaraderie. He loved to run and let his passion and enjoyment for that show no matter what.
The award, funded through the Austin “Forrest” Schiff Foundation started by Coaches Shannon Dickenson, Dale Rajala, Nikk Adams, and the 2020 Senior Class, is granted to a senior who shows Austin’s passion, excitement, caring, dedication, and enjoyment for the little things in life as well as a true love of running. The award is granted annually to a senior who plans to pursue higher level education at college or technical school who has been dedicated to Cross Country or Track through their high school career.
The scholarship, named after Austin Schiff, continues to live on through his legacy of what it means to be a true “Forrest Gump.” The Austin Schiff Scholarship awards $250 per year to be applied toward tuition, books, board, and/or other expenses.
