GS Alaska Troop 210, Founder of Bucket Trees We're a small Girl Scout Troop from Soldotna, Alaska. We created the Bucket Tree project which gained more popularity throughout Alaska.

The Bucket Trees are a bucket loaner station found at campgrounds to have access to safely put out your campfires.

We met with our Alaskan representatives while in DC, including explaining the importance of reducing human caused wildfires through education and providing the tools to local campers to “Drown, Stir and Feel” their fires before leaving.

Today was spectacular! Senators Sullivan and Murkowski made the day extra special for our girls with a special VIP Senate Tour and then Senator Murkowski invited us to view a Senate vote from the family viewing area above the Senate floor!! Amazing!!
