Hospice of the Central Peninsula

Hospice of the Central Peninsula Welcome to the official Hospice of the Central Peninsula page. Hospice of the Central Peninsula is a Volunteer Hospice. "You matter because you are you.

It involves a team of trained volunteers in an approach tailored to help a client or their family deal with life limiting condition. Hospice's blend of compassion and skill helps the client to live each day with comfort and dignity, retain control over their lives, and discover renewed meaning and purpose to life. You matter to the last moment of your life, and we will do all we can to help you die peacefully, but also to live until you die." - Cicely Saunders founder of the Hospice Movement.

Friendly reminder:

Hospice of the Central Peninsula is an independent agency. Returning equipment to other facilities/the hospital does not ensure that the items will make it back into our loan closet to be used by our community!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE return directly to our office. If you have to drop off on the weekend or after business hours we totally understand and you can drive around and leave it at the backdoor, but please do not drop off to other organizations assuming they deliver.

We appreciate those organizations that take them and hold them for us, but we want to not wear out their generosity.

(Please, too, do not give away or sell the equipment. If it has a pink sticker that says Hospice on it, please return it. We do not have an infinite supply of items and we rely on things coming back.)
