The Soldier Library was pleased to have Ethan Blue speak about his fossils last Friday. Guests learned about his future plans which could include paleontology. We enjoyed seeing and hearing about his fossil collection. Thank you Ethan!

Flowers galore! Heather brought flowers from her garden in Turin today which the children arranged in their jars. Earlier Judy had read a story about Zinnia and her flower garden, which tied in nicely with today’s presenter. Afterwards the children went “shopping” at the farmers market just across the street with money from the library.
Flowers on display today: lisianthus, snapdragons, statice, celosia/cockscomb, Queen Anne’s Lace/chocolate lace flower, amaranth, Veronica, and gomphrena. Heather has many more species at her garden!!
