Puppy Save Me is dedicated to saving dogs' lives through support of rescue and adoption.
What do we mean, and how do we do that?
What do we do with your contributions to Puppy Save Me?
We support the local community groups throughout the United States that work relentlessly to monitor the dogs' suffering in animal shelters, and then literally go in and rescue the ones that they can. These local groups maintain a relationship with animal shelters to help rescue dogs that due to cruel abandonment, frightening abuse and neglect, and brutal starvation, are now in "kill shelters." These groups go in and physically rescue the ones that they can.
Local community groups then provide foster homes to begin the process of feeding, rehabilitating, and providing what veterinary care they can afford, to show these dogs love, and provide food and a stable family.
The heartbreaking reality is that there are too many dogs for the shelters to board. There are not enough "forever" homes for these dogs to go to.
Through no fault of their own, millions of loving dogs will be killed simply to make room for more and more dogs that then have to be killed.
These local groups, small and unaffiliated, provide interim foster homes for rescued dogs, and then seek "forever" homes for these dogs.
Puppy Save Me is going to build an outreach to these community groups and help fund their work through your contributions to us.
All we do is save dogs' lives.
Millions of innocent dog's are senselessly slaughtered every year because there are no "forever" homes for them.
