The Wayne County Department of Aging and Youth is hosting a series of Parent Cafés! These gatherings offer a welcoming space for parents to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

Parents and caregivers of young children - this great opportunity is happening on Friday. You won’t want to miss it!

Free developmental checks are available for children ages 12 to 60 months through the Get Ready to Grow program. These quick, engaging screenings help you better understand how your child is developing and connect you with helpful local resources if needed.

Join us on Friday, May 8, from 9–11 AM or 2–4 PM at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital (Main Lobby Area)

These checks can help identify strengths, spot areas where extra support might help, and connect you with a navigator for next steps.
