Running with Sasquatch is an annual 5k trail race to support Ivy Academy Charter School. The event increases community awareness about Ivy Academy, raises funds for its programs and showcases outdoor education. Ivy Academy, located in Soddy Daisy, TN, is a tuition-free public charter high school and middle school, serving grades 6 & 9-12. Our campus is adjacent to the North Chickamauga Creek which

allows us access to many trails and creeks. Instruction at Ivy Academy occurs more in the outdoors than in the four walls of the classroom. The foundational element of Ivy Academy’s curriculum is to develop environmentally conscious citizens who have an appreciation of the woods, mountains, valleys and streams – our precious natural resources. Ivy Academy is a natural leader in environmental education and is a USDE Green Ribbon School. We are a Title I, nonprofit 501(c)(3) program. Visit www.ivyacademychattanooga.com to learn more.

Our Spring Festival at Ivy Academy, directly following our race, is now accepting market vendors. We are looking for environmentally-minded local artisans to share their work alongside our group of local nonprofits, food vendors, and live performances by Magic Birds and Tanner Hillis!
