Summer squash and dark green zucchini planted.

I filled 2 beds and filled the potato sacks. $140 for just that. Wow everything has gotten so expensive!!

We have 5 more beds to fill.

Thank you to Scheeres, Tennessee Valley Authority, Locke and Hayes for all your help making this possible!!! Thank you!!

Although it will be expensive to consolidate our operations. Long term, we will be more effective in feeding our children and their families!

Just received a photo of Aelin, a one year goat, enjoying some of the cabbage stalks we provided to our local homesteaders.

Excited. As KELCURT Farms repositions itself for the 2026 harvests almost everything is changing and growing.

Currently installing new garden beds at the community garden to consolidate food production, resources, and learning opportunities.

At the conclusion of of this season, we will be shutting down the Haile Hoop House, the Parsons Hoop House and the Beds at the Soddy Daisy Speed Shop (not the flower bed in front of the store)

This consolidation will cut on drive times, water resources, and time - making our entire division more efficient!

Harvested almost 29 lbs of cabbage heads and about 110 lbs of cabbage leaves fodder. Not a great haul
We lost 20% of the crop in the first deep freeze and 30% in the the next deep freeze in February.

This will be our last time growing winter cabbage. But still. It’s 29 lbs of fresh produce we did not have coming into spring.
