The city of Socorro is home to an incredible academic institution full of extremely brilliant students and faculty. The city of Socorro is also burdened with poverty and over crowded schools. Students at New Mexico Tech saw it as a good idea to start a club that would help the city of Socorro with both poverty and schooling. Our club will raise money for Christmas gifts for the children of Socorro

, mentor children in Math and Science, hold Math and Science Community days, and hold clothing drives for residents of Socorro.
