Help Us Feed the Crew at Our September 4-H Hangout!

Our first Hangout of the new 4-H year is coming up Tuesday, September 8, and we need a little help filling the table!

Families who would like to contribute can use our SignUpGenius to choose an item to bring for the meal. Every little bit helps us make sure there’s plenty to go around!

📍 LOCATION UPDATE: We currently plan to hold the Hangout at the Scurry County Senior Center. However, there is a possibility we may need to change locations. Please check BAND and Facebook Tuesday afternoon for confirmation of the Hangout location before heading our way.

Thank you to our 4-H families for helping make our Hangouts a success. We’ll see you Tuesday at 6 p.m.!

🚗 NEXT STOP: 4-H! 🍀

Join us for our September 4-H Hangout as we continue our 4-H Roadtrip: Projects, Careers & Beyond!

NEW FAMILIES — WE WANT YOU THERE! Whether you just joined 4-H, are thinking about joining, or simply want to learn more about what 4-H has to offer, this is a great meeting to attend. Come meet other families, learn about upcoming opportunities, and see just how much there is to discover through 4-H!

We’ll also have a Career Fair featuring local businesses and employees who will be on hand to visit with our 4-H members about their businesses, careers, and the different paths that can lead to future jobs right here in our community and beyond.

Hey Scurry County 4-Her’s! Looking for something to keep you in practice with your photography skills and maybe earn some money? You should check this out and enter some of your work! We would love to see our club enter in and show off your talent for the upcoming Snyder Spark: Places of Innovation - Fall 2026! Reach out to the museum for more information.

👖 CREATE YOUR OWN 4-H SPIRIT JEANS! 🍀

Bring your favorite denim and turn it into something that screams 4-H! Jeans, jackets, overalls, shorts, skirts, tote bags — if it’s denim, bring it on!

For $20 per denim piece, we’ll provide the supplies, space, and help you need to create your own one-of-a-kind 4-H design.

Appointments are available Tuesday–Thursday afternoons, with daytime options for homeschool members. Take-home kits are available too!

Have you completed BOTH steps for the new 4-H year?

1. Fill out our Family Information Form:

This lets us know which projects your child is interested in so we can keep you informed about meetings, practices and opportunities throughout the year. Clover Kids families (Kindergarten–2nd grade), we need your information too!

2. Enroll in Texas 4-H:
https://tx4h.tamu.edu/

Remember: Completing our Family Information Form does NOT enroll your child in 4-H. You must also complete their Texas 4-H enrollment. Members cannot compete until their enrollment has been completed and approved.

Get both checked off your list and you’ll be ready for a great 4-H year!
