Big things are happening at Aspen Camp! 🌲✨

We’re honored to be featured by The Aspen Times as we continue expanding opportunities for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, CODA, and signing communities through outdoor adventure, leadership, and lifelong learning. Aspen Camp is growing beyond traditional summer camp experiences with year-round programs, including youth camps, family programs, job skills training, ASL immersion, winter retreats, and new future initiatives.

As we look ahead, our vision remains simple: create a place where everyone belongs, discovers their strengths, and finds adventure in the outdoors.

Thank you to our participants, families, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners who make this possible. The future of Aspen Camp is bright, and we’re just getting started.

As you can see in this recap video, students from Maryland, Idaho, Colorado, and the Rocky Mountain Deaf School worked hard, learned new skills, and challenged themselves throughout the Job Skills Training Camp at Aspen Camp.

Over three days, students gained hands-on experiences in building a deck, demoing and repairing walls, installing LVT flooring, painting, fire mitigation, and farming experiences, all while learning directly from Deaf and signing mentors and instructors.

This camp was more than just projects. It was about teamwork, confidence, communication, leadership, and preparing for lifelong skills and future opportunities.

We are proud of every student who stepped outside their comfort zone, tried something new, and worked together as a community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible!
