We are thankful for a beautiful day and time change that allows us to get outside and enjoy God's creation!

The fish were biting today and they were hungry. It really made me reflect on how hungry this generation is for Truth and purpose. My prayer is that God would use The Hill FBC Students to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community through our Speech, conduct, love, faith and purity! Lord do a mighty work in and through this group! Amen

1 Timothy 4:12 CSB
[12] Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.

The Hill FBC Students have made it to Winter Jam 26'

The Hill FBC Students will make its 3rd consecutive year trip to WINTER JAM! All 6th - 12 grade students are welcome to join us. We will depart from First Baptist Church, Snow Hill on Friday 2/27 @3:30pm and will return @11:30pm.
All expenses covered except for any personal vending/merch at the venue.
Looking forward to a great night of Worship!

The rain ☔ did not slow us down tonight The Hill - FBC Students

We enjoyed some rounds of Hide & Seek across the church campus tonight, I have to be honest some of our students and adults had some clever hiding spots! Coach Jacob Baird won the first round and I can't even explain how he fit between the wall and cabinet 😆

We enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by Debbie & Rhonda Stallings Grady

Tonight we opened the Word to Matthew 4:12-17 and Luke 4:14-30, and considered why we often miss the plans God has for us

-Because we don't want to see it
-Because we are too close to see it
-Because we are looking past it

If we are going to see the blessings, opportunities, lessons, and warnings of God we have to live through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit.

Jesus came to declare Truth and the crowd in his own hometown wanted to throw him off the cliff, but Jesus walked through the crowd unscathed, because God's will was not complete.
God's not done with you, don't miss what He has in store right in front of you!

Luke 4:28-30 CSB
[28] When they heard this, everyone in the synagogue was enraged. [29] They got up, drove him out of town, and brought him to the edge of the hill that their town was built on, intending to hurl him over the cliff. [30] But he passed right through the crowd and went on his way.

We had a great night Sunday at The Hill - FBC Students

The students broke in the new basketball goal for the first time since being installed. We are looking forward to the 2nd goal which will be installed this week!

We enjoyed a great meal and heard a message on Matthew 3:7-17

We are grateful for our Sunday nights together and making much of JESUS!

Matthew 3:16-17 CSB
