What a GREAT Saturday night with The Hill!

Our teens had such an amazing time at Judgment House! We are so thankful for opportunities like these to grow in our faith, spend time together, and make memories! We love seeing the friendships and community being built within our youth group!

REMINDER!

There will be NO regular youth service this Wednesday because of our church’s Trunk or Treat!

BUT that doesn’t mean we don’t want to see you!! 👀

Meet the faces behind The Hill! ⛰️🤍

We are so thankful for this group of leaders who have a heart for the Lord and a passion for the next generation!

Our mission is more than just gathering on Wednesday nights. It’s about building relationships, creating a place where students feel loved and welcomed, and most importantly, pointing them to Jesus.

We laugh together, pray together, grow together, and sometimes get a little competitive during game time!

We count it a privilege to pour into these students each week, and we are so excited to see what God continues to do through The Hill!

Our prayer is simple: that every student who walks through our doors leaves knowing they are loved by us and, even more importantly, by Jesus. ❤️

We can’t wait to see everyone Wednesday night! Come hungry, bring your Bible, and bring a friend! There’s always a place for YOU at The Hill!

There is something so special about what happens AFTER the sermon. ❤️

One of our favorite parts of Wednesday nights is our small groups! It’s where we take what we’ve learned from God’s Word and dig a little deeper. We share our highs and lows of the week, celebrate the good moments, encourage each other through the hard ones, ask tough questions, and pray for one another.

We’re not just building a youth group. We’re building a community rooted in Christ. A place where students feel heard, loved, encouraged, and comfortable growing in their faith together.

Because discipleship doesn’t end when the sermon does. Sometimes, that’s where the deepest conversations begin. 🤍

This is what The Hill is all about! ⛰️

We can’t wait to see everyone next Wednesday! Bring your Bible and bring a friend! 🫶🏼

What a day with The Hill!

Our Mac Daddy’s trip started off with a little unexpected adventure when our bus broke down on the way there … but we made it, and the teens had an absolute BLAST!

From bowling 🎳 to the driving range ⛳️, putt-putt, arcade games, and go-karts 🏎️—there were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and so many good memories made.

But our favorite part wasn’t any of the activities—it was watching these teens grow closer and build genuine community with one another. That is something we have prayed for, and it’s such a blessing to watch God bring this group together!

We’re thankful for every student who came and every leader who helped make the day possible. Now… who’s ready for Wednesday?!

Wednesday night was such a good one! We had 18 students, enjoyed a wonderful meal together, spent some time outside having fun, and our leaders even challenged the students to a Gaga Ball game!

And of course, we finished the night with ice cream—which I think Pastor Chandler enjoyed more than anyone… straight from the tub! 🍦

We love the fun, the food, and the fellowship, but most of all, we love getting to pour into these students and watch what God is doing at The Hill. God is growing this ministry, and we’re so thankful to be a small part of it! 🤍

WE PRAYED FOR 15… GOD SENT 16!

This past Wednesday, we challenged our teens at The Hill to bring a friend. We set a goal of 15 students, and all week long, our group and church family prayed specifically for those 15.

And look what God did. ❤️

SIXTEEN STUDENTS showed up!! And what makes it even sweeter? We were even missing some of our regulars!

We were also blessed with a wonderful meal provided by Collyn & Susan Beaman and Billy & Jane McLawhorn! We are so thankful for church members who love on and pour into our students in so many different ways. ❤️

What a beautiful reminder that God hears our prayers, and He is at work in the next generation.

We prayed for 15. God gave us 16. And we believe He’s just getting started.

Wednesday Night Recap!!

Pastor Chandler preached on Romans 1 and talked about idols—how easy it is to let things like popularity, relationships, sports, money, our phones, or even ourselves take a place in our hearts that belongs to God alone.

Romans 1 reminds us not to trade the truth of God for the things of this world. God deserves first place in our lives—not just on Wednesdays, but every day.

We enjoyed some delicious sloppy joes from Hermanda Butler !!
We also had a fun nerf war!

Good food, lots of laughs, and most importantly, time spent in God’s Word.

We hope to see you next week!! Remember to bring your bible & a friend!
