Join us once a month to take a specific anti-poverty action, and we mean action! Your volunteer time is precious and we want to provide you the skills you will need to work efficiently and purposefully with your member of congress and the local Snohomish county community. Together, we will learn how preventable diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, and HIV infections can be reduced provided an inve
stment by congress. We will learn about how to advocate for the millions of school age children, mostly girls, are not in school due to failed school systems, war, community strife. We will discover the merits of microfinance and share this economic relief concept with our elected officials. We will do all of this together so that we see our values reflected in how we as a community invest in foreign development programs.
