Farmer Frog is a nonprofit agriculture education and food distribution organization located in Washington state, USA.

Farmer Frog is an intercultural and intergenerational hands-on site management system and educational resource created with the goals of promoting, teaching, creating, and cultivating technologies and applied solutions for sustainable, environmentally responsible, socially conscious community based urban farming in the urban, suburban and urban-rural interface areas. Farmer Frog sustainably grows

healthy food. Farmer Frog also assists and offers research, outreach and technical assistance to communities and organizations it partners with and through helping to develop Community Based, Environmentally Responsible and Socially Just Food Systems. Farmer Frog is a non-profit organization supporting people of all ages from diverse cultures, backgrounds, needs and living conditions by providing equitable access to healthy, nutritious, safe and affordable local food produced within their own communities while the environment, natural ecosystems and wildlife habitats are protected.

Dearests,

It is a very sad day but I have to share the news with you of Farmer Frog closing.

We are closing our gates for good now. Due to severe funding cuts, federal funding freezes, county regulations and then the December flood in Snohomish Valley, we lost our locations and all of our materials and supplies.
Our Board decided to close the organization.

We want to thank you for being you, for being part of our lives, for being our teammates and supporters on this, often difficult, but incredibly beautiful and rewarding 17 years long journey. We are grateful for your help, service and support.

You can help!
We need funding support to help our community members get their lives back together and back on track. We need funding support to prevent further damage unattended conditions will inevitably bring.
We need your help now! This is not a feel-good-moment or a beautiful story rather a hard situation for all who has been impacted that requires urgent attention. The impacts linger. Some of the fields still have flood waters sitting on them. Farmers and people need our caring support. You can be part of the team stepping up.
