Chief Seattle Council is seeking Scouting volunteers to help us connect more youth to the Scouting during the Washington State Fair Sept 4th - 27th. In particular, we are needing certified BB gun rangemasters or NRA rifle instructors to supervise BB gun ranges that will be part of our activity at the fair.

Another season has come to a close here at the Cascade Scout Reservation. As we depart, the staff at Camp Pigott and Camp Edward look back fondly on a summer of good times and great memories and would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the scouts and leaders who shared the experience with us this year. We are, once again, honored to have had the privilege to serve you! All the best to each of you, until we meet again on the trail!

Troops 244 and 501 from the Mountain Territory attended the last week of camp and had a great time! The Scouts teamed up with 5 other troops on a service project to optimize the impact! The unit expressed their love of the Camp Pigott experience and said the staff was amazing and did their best at every turn.!

Getting the stamp of approval, Camp Pigott receives NCAP accreditation for 2026.
The purpose of Scouting America’s National Camp Accreditation Program (NCAP) is to help elevate camps to new levels of excellence in delivering Scouting’s promise to youth. Councils will engage in a rigorous review of camps and properties, continuous improvement, and correction or elimination of substandard practices.
