ONE FRUIT, NINE EXPRESSIONS 🍊

Our recent Harvest Eagles online worship gathering centered on Galatians 5:22–23 and the evidence of a Spirit-filled life.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”

The Bible says fruit, not fruits. Think of an orange or tangerine: it is one fruit containing several connected sections. In the same way, the Holy Spirit desires to cultivate all nine characteristics within us.
We cannot choose only the qualities that are easiest for us. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control should work together as evidence of the Holy Spirit’s transforming presence.

Spiritual growth requires honest reflection:
Is love evident in the way I treat people?
Do I remain joyful when circumstances change?
Is God’s peace governing my thoughts?
Am I patient when inconvenienced?
Are my words kind?
Am I faithful when no one is watching?
Can I speak truth with gentleness?
Do I practice self-control?

These questions are not meant to condemn us. They help us recognize the areas that must be surrendered to God.
This week’s challenge:

Read Galatians 5:22–23 every day. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal one area that needs growth, and intentionally demonstrate that quality to someone else.
May our lives reveal the character of Christ wherever we go.

Hello family!
I want to share a simple practice that changed my life: A chapter of Proverbs a day keeps the stress away.

Reading just one chapter a day increases your wisdom, your knowledge, and your understanding for wise living.

Let's look at Proverbs Chapter 1.

This chapter is all about receiving wisdom, discipline, and insight. It gives us instruction for living a righteous life, doing what is right, just, and fair.

The wisdom of God is an impartation. It is a gift to help those who feel simple, who feel like they don't know enough. God gives us knowledge and discretion when we open His Word.

My biggest takeaway from Chapter 1 is this:

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

To fear the Lord is to honor Him, to respect Him, to put Him first. The Bible says only fools despise wisdom and discipline.

And here is what I learned: The more disciplined you are in the Word, the more God-driven your decisions become.

So I encourage you today:

Walk in wisdom. Walk in the knowledge of God by reading His Word. Just one chapter a day.

August 2026 Theme “All In”

WELCOME TO AUGUST - OUR ALL IN MONTH!

Welcome to August, the 8th month — and this is AUGUST FOR ALL OF US!

Our theme this month is “ALL IN” with God and in alignment with His purpose, and it's time to ACTIVATE PURPOSE!

Spiritually, the number 8 means NEW BEGINNINGS & NEW CREATION
We are going ALL IN — no more one foot in and one foot out. We are fully surrendered, fully committed, and fully aligned with what God called us to do.

Scriptures: Romans 12:1 says, "Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."

Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This August, God is doing a new thing in us as we go ALL IN!
