August 2026 Theme “All In”

WELCOME TO AUGUST - OUR ALL IN MONTH!

Welcome to August, the 8th month — and this is AUGUST FOR ALL OF US!

Our theme this month is “ALL IN” with God and in alignment with His purpose, and it's time to ACTIVATE PURPOSE!

Spiritually, the number 8 means NEW BEGINNINGS & NEW CREATION
We are going ALL IN — no more one foot in and one foot out. We are fully surrendered, fully committed, and fully aligned with what God called us to do.

Scriptures: Romans 12:1 says, "Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."

Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This August, God is doing a new thing in us as we go ALL IN!

Book of Revelations: The churches Revelation 2:1-7

Return To Your First Love

It's so interesting when you read the Gospels and study the history of the churches in Revelation. The church, then and now, is the Body of Christ, it represents God's people.

Take Ephesus for example. Revelation 2:1-7. The church at Ephesus was a hardworking church. They were doctrinally sound and knew the Word of God. But over time, their hearts grew hard and their love for Him grew cold.

And I can't help but see that the same thing Ephesus went through is happening to the church today.

We get so busy doing church activities, serving, posting, and working that our prayer life and intimacy with Jesus fades away. We lose the desire, the hunger, and the urgency to stay connected to God. We can serve God in this hour without truly delighting in Him. We see it all the time. There are trees that are growing, but they are bearing little fruit because they are not connected to the Vine.

But the Lord is calling us back today. He says to Remember, Repent, and do the first works. He is calling us to seek Him first and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto us.

He doesn't just want us to work, work, work for Jesus. He wants us to fall in love with Jesus all over again.

So let's make time for Jesus today. Let's connect with Him in His Word. Let's lift our hands in praise and kneel in prayer. Let's surrender all to Him so we can truly be connected as the Body of Christ.

Let's return to our first love.

We are currently seeking volunteers to serve on the day of the event.

We are also looking for vendors. If you know anyone who would like to be a vendor at this expo, please have them contact us. We especially need vendors who provide services for children, such as face painting, balloon art, and other family-friendly activities.

When we surrender ourselves to God, He brings justice and restores what’s broken. Remember, God fights for us daily.

JOYFUL: Whole-Heart Praise

Psalms 9:1-2 NLT
I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High

MEDITATION
June’s theme is JOYFUL, and David shows us where real joy starts: not in perfect circumstances, but in a pointed decision. He begins with, “I will praise you… with all my heart.” That means no half-hearted, leftover praise. David chooses worship before the battle is over. Whole-heart praise is honest praise. We bring God our doubts, our grief, and our gratitude all at once, because He can handle unfiltered us.

Then David shifts from inward posture to outward witness: “I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.” Joy grows when we rehearse God’s track record. Our brains believe what we repeat. So today, name three “marvelous things” — a prayer He answered, peace He gave in chaos, provision you didn’t see coming. Testimony isn’t just for others. It fuels your own joy.

Finally, David lands on the result: “I will be filled with joy because of you.” Notice the order here. Praise comes first, then telling, then the filling. Joy isn’t the requirement for worship. It’s often the result of it. We don’t feel our way into praise. We praise our way into joy, because joy is rooted in who God is, not in how we feel.

TODAY’S PRACTICE
Before you scroll, speak this out loud: Lord, with all my heart today I will ——-Fill in the blank. Praise Him. Tell someone what He’s done. Watch joy show up.

PRAYER
Most High, I choose You over my mood. With all my heart, I praise You. Remind me of Your marvelous works when I forget. Fill me with joy that’s rooted in who You are, not what I feel. In Jesus’ name, amen.
