Winter weather update:
All Gwinnett County offices will open Thursday, January 23 for normal business hours, with exceptions noted below.
Gwinnett Courts will open on a delayed schedule at 10:00am on Thursday, January 23. Trials and hearings are canceled on Thursday, January 23.
Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner offices will open on a delayed schedule at 12:30pm on Thursday, January 23. Renewal kiosks and online services remain available.
The Buford, Centerville, Lawrenceville, and Norcross Senior Centers and Snellville Satellite Senior Center will be closed to the public Thursday, January 23.
Gwinnett County Police urge motorists to use caution when driving. While some main roads are passable, many side roads and neighborhood roads may have icy patches.
Due to the projected overnight temperature of 35 degrees or below, Gwinnett County will open our five Warming Stations Thursday, January 23 and Friday, January 24 from 6:00pm to 7:00am. Due to winter weather conditions, there will be a delay in solid waste services. Residents in unincorporated Gwinnett should still place their trash and recycling out on their regularly scheduled day. If it is not serviced on your regular day, it will be serviced this week. All trash and recycling is expected to be serviced by Saturday, January 25.
All yard debris and bulk item services have been suspended for the remainder of the week. Pickup for these items will resume starting Monday, January 27.
