Established in 2009, The Bridge Between Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of both horses and humans. Our mission is two-fold: to provide a safe and loving sanctuary for horses in need and to create transformative programs for individuals who have experienced trauma, are in foster care, or have been affected by domestic violence. Horses, with their

gentle nature and intuitive understanding, serve as our partners in this journey. They offer a bridge between the past and the present, between pain and recovery, and between fear and hope. Our equine sanctuary is a haven for horses that have been neglected, abused, or are in need of a second chance. With wide-open pastures, comfortable shelters, and expert care, our rescued horses can finally experience the safety, peace, and love they deserve. Our dedicated team of caretakers ensures that each horse receives the individual attention, medical treatment, and emotional support they require to thrive. Beyond our sanctuary, The Bridge Between develops programs that utilize the healing power of horses to help individuals facing difficult circumstances. We offer equine-assisted therapy and activities tailored to address trauma, build self-esteem, and foster personal growth. By partnering with our horses, participants learn to trust, communicate, and develop resilience, leading them on a path of healing and empowerment. In collaboration with local organizations, we have also created specialized programs for foster care children, providing them with a unique and nurturing environment to develop life skills, build confidence, and form meaningful connections with horses and mentors. Additionally, we offer support and resources to those affected by domestic violence, using equine-assisted activities to restore a sense of safety, strength, and hope.
