Hello everyone!
Garden Fall Update:

The irrigation is turned off to all beds. The pump is plugged in and is always ON. If you want to water, turn the spigot under a hose on, and squeeze the hose nozzle. When finished turn the spigot under the hose OFF and squeeze hose nozzle to drain hose.

Sept 29th we have volunteers coming to prep the garden for winter. We will be tearing out the community rows of corn, tomatoes etc. Please w**d and fix up your individual beds before the 29th. Beds not attended to will have all vegetation removed. We prefer to use the limited volunteer time on community areas and not on individual beds.

Some of us are now planting fall/winter crops. Those beds that plant for the Fall will have the irrigation turned back on if Fall crops are planted.

For everyone who has rented a garden bed for 2026, we have great news! All garden beds plus all of the community garden areas are now irrigated with drip irrigation thanks to a grant from Food Well Alliance. Your veggies will be automatically watered for one hour every other day. You also have the option to water manually in addition, or to shut off the automatic irrigation. This will help you achieve a wonderful harvest. See the instruction video here.
