Onslow County Public Library is continuing to have a DINO-MITE start to Summer Reading! Thank you to everyone who has joined us for programs, logged reading minutes, and helped make Unearth a Story such a roaring success. There's still plenty of prehistoric fun ahead, so keep reading, keep exploring, and keep digging into great stories all summer long!

Did you know that the Sneads Ferry Branch Library hatches butterflies in the summer? It's a part of the children's summer programming! Don't we have the best library staff? What a great way to learn about the butterfly life cycle! They are important pollinators in our local ecosystem! Stop in, take a look, and help name them! While you're at it, pick up a book on a butterfly species you would like to learn about. Have YOU seen American painted ladies in YOUR yard? I have!
