💙 Jacksonville-South Rotary Club is grateful to Dr. Michael LeAndre, Mario Harris, and Ike Johnson of MENAC (Mentoring Every Neighborhood and Community) for visiting our weekly Wednesday meeting and sharing their meaningful youth mentoring work!
MENAC serves youth across Onslow and Jones Counties, helping young people strengthen life skills, communication, self-worth, accountability, responsibility, integrity, respect, and participation. Their mentors include retired military veterans and dedicated community professionals. In the 2022–2023 school year, MENAC mentored 316 youth across 15 schools: an inspiring example of impactful community service!
Our weekly meetings give us the opportunity to learn from community leaders, build partnerships, and identify ways to serve locally. Thank you, MENAC, for reminding us what is possible when caring adults invest in the next generation.
Are you a community expert with a story or mission to share? We invite you to speak with Jacksonville-South Rotary Club. Learn more at https://bit.ly/speak2rotary.
