Where is your treasure?

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

So go ahead, and dream of a land where all things are perfect, but know that there is treasure for us today...here on earth. Treasure in the people that God puts in your path, the way he's working in your life, and the gifts that he's given to you.
For you are his treasure...and he loves you with all that is in him.

It's easy to think that we are the owners of the things that are 'OURS"...but what is really ours? Are we really owners...

It's easy to think that we are the owners of the things that are 'OURS"...but what is really ours? Are we really owners of anything?

Scripture tells us in Psalm 24:

"The earth is the LORD"s, and everything in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessings from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior.

Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD is mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

Who is he, this King of glory?
The LORD Almighty—he is the King of glory. "

The stuff in our lives is real. Sometimes it's the stuff that clutters our closets; sometimes it's the stuff that clutt...

The stuff in our lives is real.
Sometimes it's the stuff that clutters our closets; sometimes it's the stuff that clutters our heads or our calendars, but sometimes, it the stuff that keeps us from finding peace...with God and one another.

But regardless of how much stuff you have, God is more.

He keeps seeking us out, calling our names, and hoping that we will see, that he is so much greater than the stuff of this earth.

So what can you give to God today, so that you aren't carrying around so much stuff? What can you give to him...so that you can rest...rest in him and find peace.

His love for you is great......greater than all the stuff you have...
greater than all the stuff that life throws at you.

Today, I pray you find peace.... in the one who gives us life...
for your life is worth more than all the stuff of the world.

Have you ever settled for enough, but really wanted more?

What if I told you that YOU ARE ENOUGH...and your barn is perfectly sized to hold everything that God has given you....but wanting more is natural.

Maybe today you wish you had more...
more time..
more resources...
more connections....

And I get it....we often need more...especially more than what we currently have.

But how often do we actually stop to consider what we have, where it came from and how we can use it?

We live in a world that often believes that there isn't enough,
it tells us that we aren't enough...

because we live in a world that functions in a deficit mindset...

where there's never enough...
time, resources, or connections
or love, joy, and peace...
to meet us in our time of need,
to help us get where we need to go...to do the things we need to do.

But what would happen if we chose to believe...

that every day...God provides US (not me)...
with everything WE need...

After all, the whole earth is his...and all who are on it...

There's no mountain too high or valley to low...
where his love won't go...
to meet you there...
and provide you with every good thing you need each day.
For he is more than enough...he holds us all together.

So today, whether you are living in the land of plenty or the land of need, remember that God is Lord over all, and he has enough for each of us...if we just stop to recognize our need for HIM and our need for each other.

For just like God created the heavens and the earth, He created the church to be a body, a body of believers that knows...
we have more than enough...when we all work together, seeking out each other like He seeks us out.

For you are enough...today..and always...and the gfts and talents you have are enough...to change the world.

Never believe that you aren't enough...for you are perfectly and wonderfully made...by God...for a reason.
