We just want to take a moment to say thank you to the 𝙇𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙞𝙏.

These wives, moms, daughters, and friends show up every single time. They work behind the scenes at every event, they just pulled off a successful bake sale that raised over $1890 for our heroes, and they're already gearing up to provide food for the upcoming retreat.

Honestly, we couldn't do this without them. Our heroes are so well taken care of because of the love and effort these women pour into this mission.

We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful. 🙏

🎣 919.9 pounds. Let that sink in.

Marlin Fever just rewrote the record books at the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament in Morehead City, hauling in a monster blue yesterday that had the whole offshore community buzzing.

This is what bluewater dreams are made of: long days, big seas, and the fish of a lifetime hitting the scales.

Hats off to the crew that pulled it off. Salute to everyone chasing the bite off the NC coast right now. 🌊

“Marlin Fever” boated the first blue marlin of Day 2 at the 2026 Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament and the fish weighed in at a whopping 919.9 lbs.

𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙞𝙏 retreats bring together veterans, active duty, and first responders for a 4-day all-inclusive experience including travel expenses. One full day is spent inshore fishing 🎣, with the rest focused on real conversations around brain health 🧠, nervous system regulation, hormones, purpose, identity, and what comes next. It's a reset that actually lasts.

Today I remember 𝗚𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗞𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿.

A Marine Raider. A warrior. A husband. A father. A man I’ll never forget.

Scott was born in Mancos, Colorado, and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2005. He served as a Machine Gunner with 1st Battalion 5th Marines before earning his place among the Marine Raiders after successfully completing MARSOC Assessment and Selection and the Individual Training Course, where he graduated as honor graduate.

He deployed in support of multiple operations, and on his final deployment to Iraq while supporting Iraqi Security Forces in the Nineveh Province, Scott was killed in action. He gave everything in service to others, as he always did.

But to me, he was never just the Marine the world sees in a citation.

𝙃𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙.

I still remember the last time we went fishing together before his final deployment. Just two friends trying to slow time down for a few hours before everything changed.

Losing Scott almost broke me.

But it also became the reason 𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙞𝙏 exists. I couldn’t change what happened to him, but I could choose to live in a way that honored him. I could try to carry forward what he represented: brotherhood, strength, humility, and showing up for others who are carrying more than they can say out loud.

Scott was the best father, husband, and Marine I have ever known.

Today I also honor Renea, his wife and bride, and their children C**t and Penelope. Renea carries Scott’s legacy forward every day with strength that reflects who he chose as his partner in life. And through his children, his story continues.

We also remember every fallen hero who never made it home.

We will not forget you, Scott.
