Instead of coaching from the sidelines, try asking your player:

“What did you do well today?”

“What’s one thing you want to work on this week?”

These small conversations help players build confidence, think critically, and take ownership of their development — all while keeping soccer fun and positive! ⚽️✨

At Ferry Riptides Soccer Club, we believe player development starts with encouragement both on and off the field.

🗣️ Tip of the Week:
After each practice or game, ask your player to share one thing they learned.
It helps them build confidence, reflect on their progress, and strengthens the bond between you and your athlete.

Your support means the world and it’s what keeps our players motivated and growing every week!

🏆 CHAMPIONS ALERT! 🏆

Our 2016 Boys Riptides dominated the PGSA Pirates Showdown, finishing the weekend undefeated with only one goal scored against them before the final! 💪⚽

The championship match was a true battle between two great teams! It was fast-paced, exciting, and full of heart.

In the end, our U10 Riptides came out on top with a 4–2 victory to bring home the title! 🥇🔥

We’re so proud of their effort, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament. Way to go, Riptides! 💜🤍

What a fantastic day of soccer for our U12 Riptides! The team showed incredible energy, communication, and teamwork from the first whistle to the last. Their passing combinations and movement off the ball reflected the progress they’ve been making in training.

Huge thank you to our families for the constant support and positivity on the sidelines. You make the difference!

Let’s carry this momentum into Sunday and finish the weekend strong! 💜

What a fantastic weekend of soccer at the NCFC Capital City Classic! Our Riptides played with heart, determination, and skill while truly showcasing all the growth and hard work they’ve been putting in. The competition was strong, the effort was inspiring, and the weekend was a complete success!

We’re so proud of our players for their commitment and teamwork, and we’re incredibly thankful to our families for their unwavering support throughout the weekend. Each tournament is another step forward in the growth and development of our players and our club and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead! 💜⚽️

Remember, the same skills that make you successful in the classroom (focus, teamwork, persistence) are the ones that make you strong on the field.

Did you know just 5 minutes of juggling a day can massively improve a player’s first touch?

✨ Parents, here’s a fun weekend challenge:

👉 Head outside with your player, set a timer for 5 minutes, and count how many juggles they can get!

🥇 Bonus points if you join in, we’d love to see parents try too 👀😂
