HELP US. HELP THEM.

We are very excited to announce our partnership with Chew-United Way of Onslow County to help stop childhood hunger. Our community has / is struggling with providing necessary canned goods, snacks, non perishables, etc. for children to have on the weekends. We see the opportunity to help change our community, to help improve the lives of the children of our community and we ask you to help us make that opportunity happen.

Facts about CHEW Onslow County:
1 in 6 children suffer from food insecurities
900 children are fed weekly from CHEW
106,588 volunteer hours tracked through Volunteer Onslow
$165,000 FY21 dollars invested into the community

The Davis Academy will have a drop box for the items listed in our post to be dropped off. Whoever brings in the heaviest donation will receive ONE MONTH OF FREE LESSONS! (One per week). Yes, we’ll be doing weigh ins!!! We will begin accepting donations Monday August 22nd! The donation competition will last until September 22nd! It will be a reoccurring monthly contest!

We are so thrilled and excited to announce The Rookie Davis Foundation.
•
The Rookie Davis Foundation will bring local ties together and impact our community we call home. Growing up in Sneads Ferry, NC & Verona, NC, we both share a deep appreciation for family, friends and community. This foundation will provide us an opportunity to help our Home in the best way we know possible.
•
Ensuring animal rescues / shelters have funding to distribute to the well being of their animals, facilities and medicine. Assisting local food banks and food programs to help prevent children going to bed hungry at night and families going without food. Providing assistance to local youth sports programs / organizations so children are able to better afford the sport they love and dream of.
•
That’s what this foundation is all about. We are so overjoyed and can’t wait to spread the positivity across this amazing place we love. ❤️
