WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES!
I know we haven’t posted in a long time so I feel the need to update everyone.
I was in a serious fluke motorcycle accident on June 2nd that almost killed me. I spent several months in recovery and physical therapy regaining my movement as the wreck took the use of most of the right side of my body and broke many bones. During the process of CAT scans a tumor was found on my lung. This lead to a PET scan that showed a growing tumor that was quickly changing. Helen Graham Cancer Center scheduled me for a Lobectomy and took the upper portion of my lung on Nov. 14th….only to find I didn’t have cancer after all…just a serious lung infection that caused a granuloma and a month of isolation and a TON of medications I have to take for the next 6 months.
I’m finally good to move around a bit, I’m just short winded still and I didnt become a display specimen myself. I’m thankful I’m still alive though to carry on with my mission and thankful Sonya stood by me through all of this. The Ossuary will open again for visitations by next weekend and we are back to accepting Toys for Tots donations now.
2025 was NOT my year! Let’s make 2026 better, yes?
I will share some of my hospital pics for those who want to see. They should be considered graphic so be warned. I’m still not perfect and it’s been hard but I’m doing it.
I’m not a beggar but help is always nice. Like all of you I still had bills and racked up a good bit of debt surviving this mess so I wouldn’t say no to a dollar if you wanted to chip us one. 😂❤️
Love ya’ll! ~ Justin
