The Smyrna Jonquil Lions Club is revving up for our upcoming September 12th Charity Car Show in the heart of Smyrna, and we’re looking for some cool sponsors like you! This is your chance to put your business in front of hundreds of car lovers, families, and community supporters — all while giving back to a great cause. You’ll get Brand exposure for your business or service, a social media post on our page with almost 1000 followers, your logo featured on our promotional poster distributed and displayed around town, show day sponsorship flyers, and your welcome to attend and showcase your business onsite!. Each sponsorship donation pays for an underprivileged child in Cobb County to be able to visit an optometrist and receive two pairs of prescription glasses, one for school and one for home. The Lions Club Charity Car Show is coming up Sept 12th 9:00am-12:00pm Adventure Outdoors Parking Lot 2500 South Cobb Dr SE Smyrna GA. $25 Car Registration 9:00-11:00am Trophies, Raffles, Prizes, free Hot Wheels for kids 12 & under, DJ spinning records & other fun! Today the Lions Club was out at the Caffeine & Octane car show handing out flyers and personally inviting owners with the coolest cars to come to our show. We're expecting a great turn out this year so don't miss it.

> Our July meeting could not have been more perfect celebrating 250 years of our nation's independence with a presentation by Maher Abed, Commander of Post 160, Smyrna American Legion. We were most honored to have him address our club and what a story he has to tell. Could there be an encore presentation??? > Meanwhile, Lions are preparing for more vision screening opportunities and gearing up for our annual car show this fall, on 12 September at Adventure Outdoors (2500 South Cobb Drive). Now is the time for sponsors to send in their ads and now is the time for classic car owners to shine up their rides.

Thank you to everyone who supported the July 19th Lions Club Record Sale at the Atlanta Record Show. We greatly appreciate everyone who donated records and CDs, and everyone who came out to the show and shopped at our booth. We enjoyed chatting about music and making new friends. The Smyrna Jonquil Lions Club will be set up this Sunday July 19th at the Atlanta Record and CD show. 100% of the proceeds from our booth will go towards providing eye exams and purchasing prescription glasses for underprivileged children in Cobb County. There’s lots of other great vendors as well and this is one of the largest shows in the South East. Thank you to everyone who donated. We hope you can make it out to this fun event!
