Gratitude.
Humility.
Honored.
These are just some of the words to describe how the Needle Movers for Social Equity Family is feeling the day after our very first $5 Friday. I’ve been away from the work of Needle Movers for almost an entire year while I studied in Bible school. I honestly didn’t know how running a small fundraiser would go.
Would people still believe in our work?
Would people still want to support our mission?
Has the almost three-year separation from the pain of 2020 dulled the urgency we use to feel to close equity gaps?
You’ve faithfully stuck with us even after a year of almost silence from me. Words cannot express our gratitude for the extreme generosity and continued support of our beloved donors.
Our dream to fund our R.I.S.E. Program curriculum is still alive.
Because of people like you, we raised $470 of the $900 we need to complete the outstanding 6 curriculum lessons for the 2022 - 2023 school year.
That means we can create 3 more lessons to continue our work with students in Smyrna, GA and eventually other tutoring programs as a result of your financial gift.
