Great news to share!
We were able to raise $7,785 towards buying a new refrigerator and freezer for Lakepointe Food Pantry.

We're launching our Winter Project today!
15 years ago, Hungry For A Day began with a freezer repair at Second Chance Foodbank.
Now in our anniversary year, we're returning to our roots.
10 years ago, we helped launch Lakepointe Food Pantry (a project many of you supported) They have grown massively and are now serving hundreds of families monthly and have partnered with us the past 11 Thanksgivings.
Their current fridge & freezer can't keep up with demand for fresh food.
They need new commercial units: $12,000 total.
Your support keeps fresh produce, dairy, and proteins flowing to neighbors in need.

2016 flashback:
- we started a bakery in a refugee camp in Iraq that fed 1,000 people daily for 18 months (when the camp closed, equipment was sold and bought a building to start a school)
- helped start a food truck in St. Pete, Florida which still operating and feeds the homeless
- provided a Thanksgiving meal to over 15,000 people
