Want to share good news in the time of COVID for our area. Currently, Georgia has a 7.6% unemployment rate, with Atlanta region at 9.0% (DeKalb is lumped in Atlanta data). Our taxes go to fund 1st responders, health prevention and management, schools, and so much more. Thank you to all those providing essential services and those working from home to stop the spread. We appreciate your sacrifices! Our state is facing a 14% budget cut, so hang on for a bumpy ride. We are in it together!
