WTW doesn't function without our amazing volunteers!

We had an amazing time on the lake volunteering with Wake the World KC and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City.
It was an honor to spend the day helping create unforgettable memories for some incredible kids!

Wake the World KC simply wouldn't happen without all of you.

To every captain who donated your boat, fuel, and time... and to every volunteer who helped set up, cook, serve lunch, take photos, clean up, and jump in wherever needed, thank you!

Because of you, 75 teens spent the day making memories on the water, trying new things, and experiencing a day they won't forget.

We can plan and coordinate all we want, but at the end of the day, it's the people who show up that make Wake the World KC possible. We appreciate every single one of you and are so grateful you chose to spend your Monday with us.

One of our favorite new additions to Wake the World KC this year was recognizing some of our teens with fun awards like Most Stoke, Most Improved, Gnarliest Wipeout, and Biggest Send. 🤙

A huge thank you to KC Watersports, To All The Enemies, Simple Steez, and Made Mobb for donating prizes that helped make these awards possible. It was a fun way to celebrate the teens and end the day on a high note!

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to Roman Chrischilles for organizing the awards and coordinating all of the prizes. Thank you for bringing this idea to life and helping make it such a memorable part of the event!
