As a kid I had mumps, measles, chicken pox and a friend got polio. Now vaccines avoid all of those diseases. Hurrah. And vaccines aren’t new. George Washington had his troops at Valley Forge vaccinated for smallpox. Without that troop deaths may have prevented us from driving the British out of the Colonies. Just ask native Americans how they made out without the vaccine. Don’t t be duped by science deniers.
