Smithville Day 5K Run and Walk

It looks like there will not be a Smithville Day celebration this June. Without Smithville Day, the running races will not happen. The celebration and the races may come back sometime in the future. Thank you to everyone for supporting the Smithville Day 5K for 12 successful years!

Run or walk the Smithville Day 5K, Saturday, 6/11! Registration at the Community Center 8:15-9:15. The race starts in front of the Community Center at 9:30 am. Kid's fun run starts at 10:25 on the walking track next to the basketball court.
Plenty of music food and fun at this town celebration! Hope to see you there. This will be our twelfth year!

We'll have our second annual Kid's "Fun Run" next Saturday, June 11. It will start at 10:25 am after most of the adults are finished with the 5K. The fun run will be held on the walking track and start next to the basketball court. This run is about a 10th of a mile and will take from 1 to 4 minutes to complete. It will not be timed. "Kid sized" bib numbers will be available when you register. Participants may bring their parents with them on the course. This run will be super fun!

Plans for the race are going very well! Be sure to send in your race registration form. Registrations postmarked after 5/31 will be $15 and $13 through 5/31. Hope to see you at the race!
