Long Island Horsemen's Assoc LIHA is a non-profit dedicated to keeping trails open in & surrounding the Muttontown Preserve.

Our goal is to provide stewardship of the preserve & host recreational & educational events & preserve trails, protect parks, uniting riders throughout LI.

We are currently collecting supplies and donations to assist those impacted by the Harness Track fires. Donations will be transported from both Belmont Park, NY and Lexington, KY to the Harness Track in Saratoga for distribution.

We are happy to announce that the has three new members!

K-9 Jefe, and Mounted Unit horses Destry and Hudson graduated from their training program this week and have already joined their police officer partners at work.

Donated by the Nassau Police Foundation, Jefe has been trained to specialize in narcotics, tracking missing persons, evidence recovery and criminal apprehension while Destry and Hudson have been trained in crowd control and community relations.
