We are searching for a local individual to step up and become the Community Coordinator for HKRS Smithtown, NY!

Do you want to help inspire kids in your community? Leads kids to an active, healthy life with a Get Up and Go mindset. Help us to continue to spread the mission to this local community!

Hey Everyone!

I'm very sad to say, but I will be stepping down as community coordinator for the Healthy Kids Running Series Smithtown. My own children's sports have reached a level that completely consumes our weekends and I'm afraid I won't have the time needed to dedicate to this incredible event.

So...... I'm reaching out to my families hoping that our next coordinator is one of you! Please let me know if you have any interest or even know someone that could be interested so we can keep this program rocking!

Thank you to everyone for all the love and support last year, it was my absolute pleasure getting to see your children run.

It can't believe but Sunday is our final race! We have lots going on so be sure to check your email as well.

* Medals and trophies will be given out this week. Be sure to stick around to the end to help celebrate all our winners

* It's parent mile week! Parents, it's time to show those kiddos what you're made of. The parent mile will be the last race of the day. If you plan on participating, please be sure to bring a signed copy of the parent mile waiver.

* Last but not least, it's super hero week! Dress up like your favorite super hero. We might even have some local super hero's stopping by 😎🤩

****UPDATE
Ok guys people expressed concerns over the timing for our Halloween race. After talking with the field coordinators, I was able to get it moved!!!! Please check your emails from Runsign up for a copy of this weeks schedule. We will begin our races at 9:00🙃

Hey Everyone! I created a shared album with Google Photos for you.

*****UPDATE THERE WILL BE NO RACE THIS SUNDAY 10/24! I'm very sorry, but I have a schedule conflict and won't be able to hold the race this Sunday. Our next race will be on Halloween 10/31. I can't wait to see everyone in their costumes. Please wear something comfortable to run in.

Lastly, I need to re-address that ONLY RUNNERS are allowed to run the course. It was so beautiful to see all the encouragement, but parents and siblings are not to run the race with their child/ sibling. You are more than welcome to cheer from the sidelines or by the finish line :)

Hello Everyone!

I hope you guys are well rested and ready for take off this weekend. I have attached this weeks Heat assignments. We will use these times going forward for the remaining races. Please be sure to arrive 5 or 10 minutes earlier than your scheduled time. If you haven't picked up your race materials, stop by the registration desk and can grab your materials there.

This week is crazy socks week!!! Let's see how crazy we can get :)

I want to apologize if anyone was emailing me and I didn't respond. For some crazy reason all my HKRS emails were going to spam 😭😭😭

There is no race today due to the holiday weekend..see everyone next Sunday.

Wow! what an incredible start to the fall series. Parents- you rock! What great support you all showed for the runners. Runners- I am so proud of each and everyone one of you!!!

Reminder- there will not be a race next Sunday, our next race will be on October 17th.
