As we reflect on 2024, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who has supported our organization and our mission, especially the members of the American Legion Family. This year, we came together to host a wide range of events, including our children’s Easter program and the annual Smithton Halloween parade, as well as key annual observances like Memorial Day services, the Flag retirement ceremony, and a Veterans dinner. We also continued to honor our community with additional banners displayed around town. 🇺🇸

A special thanks goes to all our members and volunteers, including the Legion Auxiliary, Legion Riders, and Sons of the American Legion, whose dedication makes everything we do possible.

We also welcomed new Post Commander Jeff Hutsenpiller in July, and as we look ahead, we are excited to celebrate our 80th anniversary in 2025. Since our chartering in 1945, we’ve remained committed to supporting our veterans and community, and we look forward to another year of service. Thank you all for your continued support as we approach this milestone. 🫡
